Wednesday night notices.

Poole Runners about to set off.

A family Club (Paul and daughter Vicki)

We meet at Broadstone Sports Centre in the conference room upstairs overlooking the pool on Wednesday evenings at 7pm to receive the notices, race results etc.

The club run goes out at around 7.10pm. There are usually groups of people (all ages) running different distances at different paces.  Please make yourself known then we can introduce you to someone of your ability.

Winter runs are on road and summer runs are mainly off road using Upton and Canford Heath where possible.

The club runs vary in distance (can be 4-10 miles).  We usually split into groups of runners of the same speed, newcomers will always have someone to run with.  After the run there are shower and changing facilities and if you have time, join us in the bar where a drink and/or meal may be purchased, we are a very sociable club!

We won't ask you to join straight away, settle in first and see if we are the club for you, no pressure.

If you do decide to join, we have a range of membership options, individual, family, junior and a "100 club" where you could win a monthly cash prize!

You would also need to pay an associate members fee to the sports centre for use of the showers and bar facilities.

All fees can be found on our web site or contact the membership secretary

We hope to see you soon.

"When I decided to join Poole Runners, I was a bit worried. I didn't know what to expect and really thought that I wouldn't be fast enough to keep up. I soon found that there are all sorts of people running in the club, from the very fast to the casual jogger. We don't judge anyone and everyone is welcome, regardless of ability. So if you can run a mile in four minutes or fourteen give us a go, you definately won't regret it."
